The Unknown and Sensational Bettahalli Betta is about 88km from Bengaluru, located in Bettahalli village. There is thar road that leads all the way to the top of the hill. Also there are stone steps if one wants to climb to the top. It is believed that Lord Narashimswamy came in the form of Dasa to this place. Lord Thapgiraya who used to stay in this place first, later gave this place to the Dasa form of Lord Narashimswamy. Hence Sri Lakshmi Narashimswamy Temple was built in this place. The Temple is older than the chola dynasty. It is also believed that Lord Vishnu kept his second foot in this place and the first being in Tirupati. The Kamba inside the temple is udbhava murthy. The view from above, especially the Shimsha river flowing is eye soothing. There are stone bench to sit at the top of the hill. Overall the mesmerising nature surrounding this hill and the blessings of Sri Lakshmi Narashimswamy makes this a must visit with friends and family
