The unknown and Delightful Huluwadi Hill is about 73km from Bengaluru, located in Huluwadi village. What to say heavenly trekking place. There is mud road between mango farm that leads to the middle of the hill. From there one needs to go through rocky path to reach the top of the hill. There is no trail or steps to reach the top which makes the trekking fun and hardcore. Ancient Sri Thirumalappa Swamy temple is present at top of the hill. There is also a mythical Shiva Linga that grows every year and the stone above the linga squeeze itself every time the linga grows. The view from above is eye soothing, mesmerising, calm and peaceful. Forest area hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. I got to see three wild bears. Below the hill there is Shri Manteswamy temple. It is believed that Shri Manteswamy went inside a well in a nearby village and came out as Udbhava Murthy in this temple. Overall the hardcore trekking experience and the blessings of Sri Thirumalappa Swamy makes this a must visit place with friends and family
