The Unknown and Beautiful Sri Gavi Swamy Betta is about 43km from Mysuru, located in Kadaburu village. There is a small muddy stone trail that leads to the below of the hill. From there one needs to cross the Elephant Trench to enter this place. There is a muddy path that leads to the top. The view from above is eye soothing. Ancient Gavi where Rushi Muni have performed tapas is present at the top. It is also believed there is a cave inside the huge rocks. One can explore the hill surrounding further. Forest area hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. Looking for a quick getaway from city busy life, this is the place to be. Thus making this a must visit short trekking place with friends and family
