The Unknown and Mythical Malleshwara Temple on a hill is about 30km from Mysuru, 3km from Kallahalli village. Legend has it that Lord Shiva Jumped from the neighbouring hill on a Horse and landed here. The footprint is available on a rock below the hill. One can trek to the top and also reach the top of the hill via mud road. There are couple of Tiger residing in the surrounding caves. Hence it is not advisable to trek early morning or late night. Ideal place to watch the Sun go down. Very calm, peaceful place with beautiful nature all around. The eye catching greenery surrounding this place with mesmerising feeling all around makes this a must visit place for friends and family
