The Unknown and Excellent Bannur Lake is about 29km from Mysuru, located in Bannur village. 500 acres of pure heaven. There are tile steps to walk around this place and bench to relax. Hence ideal place to walk during Morning,Evening and enjoy the Sunrise and Sunset. Fishing and Swimming is restricted as the lake is under tender. One can cycle from Mysuru and spend hours in photography. There are even plans of installing lights similar to KRS dam.
