The Unknown and Little Heaven Sri Bande Basavanna Hill Temple is about 54km from Bengaluru, 120km from Mysuru, located in Hujagal village. There is small muddy trail that leads to the below of the hill. From below one needs to climb few steps to reach the cave temple. Almighty Lord Shiva Linga is present inside the temple. Place where Ancient Rushi Muni have performed tapas. 7 headed snake is believed to have existed here. The walk around this place is blissful. Ideal place for photography and camping. One can explore further above the hill and surrounding area. The temple is opened only on Monday from 12pm to 1pm. After 15 days of Basava Jayanthi Festival, celebration are done here.
