The Unknown and Marvelous Paradise Sri Guru Kotturu Channabasaveshwara Swami Gudi is about 205km from Bengaluru, 170km from Mysuru, located in Jannavara village. Place where Sri Channabasaveshwara Swamy kept his foot and them jumped to Kotturu Bellary which is 205km from this place. The road leads all the way to the below of the hill. From below one needs to climb 950+ stone steps to reach the top. On the way while climbing Sri Channabasaveshwara Swami footprint can be seen. The whole trek to the top is fun with mesmerizing hills surrounding and with the sound of Jannavara waterfals that flows beside this hill. Sri Guru Kotturu Channabasaveshwara Swami temple is present at the top with the idol being udhbhava murthy. Sri Anjanaya Swamy and Srii Gange Basava Swamy udhbhava murthy Idols can also be seen here, with natural water coming out of these idols anytime. The temple is open daily from 10am till 1pm. One can trek further the surrounding hills and explore the hidden caves. Ideal pace for photography and trekking.
