Mahadevapura is about 20km from Mysuru and 163km from Bengaluru.A great picnic spot which is quite far away from modern world.This place is a feast to bird photographers There is also a small old Shiva temple in the place but locked for most of the time which is 600 years old. People can enjoy the scenic beauty and swimming during summer as the water current will be less.The village is surrounded by rich green irrigated lands.
