The Unknown and Mesmerizing Heaven Shri Bettada Gavi Ranganatha Swami Cave Hill Temple is about 69km from Bengaluru, 194km from Mysuru, located in Chikkadoddavadi village. There is muddy road all the way to the top of the hill. Shri Ranganatha Swami Cave Temple is present at the top. Sri Rangappa and Sri Kadrappa Udhbhava murthy is present inside the cave. Sri Anjaneya Swamy Udhbhava murthy is present opposite the cave temple. Sri Ranganathaswamy and Sri Ranganayaki (Goddess Lakshmi) ancient sculpture can also been seen here. The view around is eye soothing. One can trek further around this place. Tiger area, hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. In the month of Shravana, the temple is open full day from morning to night. Rest of the days only if needed on special occasion, the archakaru of the temple will visit. Overall the blessings of Shri Ranganatha Swami and the pleasant nature surrounding this place makes this a must visit picnic place with friends and family
