The Unknown and Tranquil Heaven Tyakal Hills is about 63km from Bengaluru, located in Ullerahalli village. There is muddy trail till the below of the hill. From below there are stone steps till the top. It is believed that this village had 101 temples during Ancient times and was called Kanchirayana village. Lord Shiva Cave temple is present at the middle of the hill and Sri Ganga Cave which is filled with water throughout the year. The trek to this Cave temple is mesmerizing. One feels as if you are in the middle of a forest. One can trek further to the top from the cave temple. Sri Buthamma Idol is present at the top of the hill. The view from above is refreshing especially watching the surrounding hills. One can also check Banahalli Hills which is opposite to the hill, dedicated to Sri Chamundi Amma. Overall the scenic beauty of this place and the trekking experience makes this a must visit place with friends and family
