The Unknown and Marvelous Sri Someshwara Swamy Cave Hill Temple is about 59km from Bengaluru, 106km from Mysuru, located in Gattipura village. There is thar road that leads all the way to the top. The old temple built by Raja Sri Kempegowdru and later renovated by local villagers. It is believed that the local villagers found Vibuthi, Betel leaf, Udhbhava murthy of Almighty Lord Shiva and Lord Basaveshwara inside the cave along with a round ball shaped mud that consisted of gold. The gold was used to renovate this cave temple. The view from above is eye soothing. One can walk around and explore further. There are bench to sit and enjoy the mesmerizing nature. Ideal place for photography. Overall the blessings of Sri Someshwara Swamy along with abundance lovely nature makes this a must visit picnic place with Friends and Family
