The Unknown and Gigantic Trekking heaven Shri Kendaganneshwara Swami Hill is about 72km from Mysuru, 120km from Bengaluru, located in Palya village. There is road all the way to the below of the hill. Shri Kendaganneshwara Swami udhbhava murthy temple is present at the below which is open only on Sunday, Monday. Ancient sculptures can also be seen next to this temple. There is muddy road only for few meters, from there one needs to trek all the way to the top of the hill. The view from top is blissful with cool breeze blowing all around. Ancient Gavi is present at the top. Hill is surrounded by wild animals hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. I got to see deer. Overall the blessings of Shri Kendaganneshwara Swami and the hardcore trekking experience makes this a must visit picnic place with friends and family
