The Unknown and Astonishing Sri Hirekal Siddeswara Swamy Hill is about 146km from Mysuru, 9km from Holalakere village. What to say once in a life time heavenly trekking place. This place will remain in my heart forever as it is so mesmerising. Nature at its best. One needs to walk through the forest in order to reach the top of the hill. The trekking experience all the way through the forest cant be expressed as it needs to be felt. Worth all the effort put to reach the top. There are stone steps to reach the top of the hill. The view from above is jaw dropping and eye soothing. Sri Hirekal Siddeswara Swamy temple is present top of the hill. Place where Sri Channabasavadeva has performed tapas. The Ancient history of this place can be heard in the voice of Archakaru uploaded in the video.The Gangamadone kalyani present at the top is blissful. Lots of animals can be spotted around, hence late night trekking is prohibited. I got to see snake, peacock and small wild birds.
