The Unknown and Heaven Sri Srinivasa Kshetra and Belagola Dam Waterfalls is about 16km from Mysuru, 3km from Belagola village. There is muddy road that leads all the way to the temple. Ancient Sri Srinivasa Temple is believed to be of Chola Dynasty. Sri Srinivasa murthy along with Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy, Sri Sridevi Amma and Sri Bhudevi Amma idol is present inside the temple. There is a surange inside this temple that connects to Srirangapatna which is about 12km from this place. The tunnel is now closed. Coming to Belagola Dam Waterfalls which is beside this temple, is pure heaven with river Kaveri flowing majestically. It is treat to watch, swim and play in the water. Fishing is done by angling. Ideal place for photography. Almighty Lord Shiva Temple is present in the middle of the dam.
