The Unknown and Spectacular Sri Ranganathaswamy Hill Temple is about 82km from Mysuru, located in Bylakuppe town. There are only stone steps to reach the top of the hill. Ideal place for hardcore trekking and photography. Lucky me it was raining and i loved every bit of the climb. Sri Ranganathaswamy footprint is present at top of the hill. The view from above is jaw dropping. The ride to this place is eye soothing with mesmerizing forest all around. The trek to the top takes about 45min to above 1hr without no break. The view keeps better and better the more you climb. Ancient Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is present at top of the hill and it is blissful. Ingala Lake below adds a special touch to this place. Very picturesque view from the lake. One can swim, play and do fishing in this lake. Fishing is done using coracle, nets and angling. Have a short day in hand and looking for quick hardcore trekking experience, this is the place to be. Thus masking this a must visit picnic place with friends and family
