The Beautiful monolith Narayanagiri hill is about 111KM from Mysuru and 67Km from Bengaluru. Located 1km from Jalamangala Village, 60KM from Ramanagara district, this place is a ideal getaway from the busy city life. There is mud road which leads to the bottom of the hill. There are steps carved out of stone which leads all the way to the top. At the top there is a temple of God Laxmi-Narayana. A local chieftain of the 16th century, Annappa Nayaka constructed this temple. The view from the top is absolutely breath-taking and landscape is simply Amazing. The hill is quite beautiful and peaceful with many crevasses narrow pathways. Overall the drive on smooth roads, the greenary, rocky serene around, strong wind blowing makes this place perfect for trekkers and climbing enthusiasts
