Goravanahalli/Teetha resevervoir is about 88km from Bengaluru and 199km from Mysuru. Goravanahalli is one of the popular pilgrim centers located in the Koratagere taluk of Tumkur district. The temple here is dedicated to goddess Mahalakshmi. It is believed that the idol of Shri Mahalakshmi is self originated. The lake is very calm and peaceful. Beautiful nature all around with cool breeze blowing. A very good and a small Dam.The reservoir is built on the Suvarnamukhi river. One can walk on the bridge and enjoy the views around. The road to Goravanahalli is very good. Overall a good one day trip to relax
