The Unknown and Marvellous Ancient Bettadapura Madappa Gudi Betta is about 52km from Mysuru, 4km from Seegavadi village. The road to this place is good and leads all the way to the top. The view from above is eye soothing. It is believed that Sri Mahadeshwara Swamy performed tapas here. The idol inside the temple is Udhbhava Murthy. Five headed snake exist here. Forest area hence late night trekking and camping is prohibited. One can walk further around the Hillock. Ideal place for photography. There is a Gavi located on the way to the top.
