The Unknown and Heavenly Gajaraja Giri Betta Sri Gavi Siddalingeshwara Swamy Cave Hill Temple is about 48km from Mysuru, located in Doddanakette village. The hill looks like an elephant sleeping with its trunk stretched out. Hence the hill gets its name Gajaraja Giri Betta. Ancient Sri Gavi Siddalingeshwara Swamy Cave Hill Temple is present at middle of the hill. There are stone steps that leads all the way to the top of the hill. Approx 20min of trek from the below. Ancient Mantap can be seen at the top of the hill. The view from above is eye soothing and jaw dropping. Below the hill Swatantra Siddalindeshwara Temple is present.
