The Unknown and View Heaven Barekall Hill is about 90km from Bengaluru, located in Kotekoppa village. There is muddy road all the way to the top. Suggest to use a powerful bhp two wheeler or 4×4 four wheeler, or trek from below. Shri Kanive Jodi Mahaganapati Temple below is the starting point from below. The view gets better and better as one reaches further heights with 360 degree of pure heaven view. Shri Kote Maramma Tayi Temple is present at the top. There was a village previously at the top of the hill. But due to water scarcity, the villagers shifted to below and left the village at the top abandoned. Mysuru Maharaja Horse footprint, Sri Bare Muniyappa Gavi, Sri Vajra Muneshwara Swamy snake burrow temple are some of the other attractions at the top. Forest area, hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. Looking for a refreshing experience, this is the place to be. Thus making this a must visit place with friends and family
