The Unknown and Beautiful Haristhala Lake is about 75km from Bengaluru, located in Haristhala village. There is muddy road to this lake. Once can see the Ancient Sri Muthuraya Swamy udhbhava murthy idol inside a tree at the entrance. The water in this lake is filled by rain water. There are hills surrounding this lake, and the view of this lake from the hill is mesmerizing with cool breeze blowing all around. The walk on the bund is refreshing. Fishing is done using coracle and angling. Swimming and playing in water is allowed. Overall a must visit place with friends and family
