The Unknown and Little Heaven Bolgudda Sri Mahadeshwara Swamy Gavi Hillock cave Temple is about 57km from Mysuru, located in Deshigowdanapura. Place where Sri Mahadeshwara Swamy first came and then moved to MM Hills. There is good thar road all the way to the temple. Sri Mahadeshwara Swamy udhbhava murthy is present inside the cave temple. From below one needs to climb few stone steps to reach the top of the hillock. Sri Mahadeshwara Swamy statue is present at the top. The view from above is refreshing. Lucky me it was drizzling and loved every bit of the view. Have a short day in hand and looking for a quick getaway from city busy life this is the place to be. Thus making this a must visit picnic place with Friends and Family
