The Unknown and Gorgeous Kabbathi Ranganatha Swamy Hill Temple is about 101km from Mysuru, located in Kabbathi village. There are multiple mud trails that leads to the below hill. From below one needs to climb about 750 stone steps to reach the top. Once reached top, the tranquil view makes the climb to the top worth. Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple is present at top of the hill. Ideal place for trekking and photography. Lots of stone rock are spread around the hill. The place is surrounded by forest. Hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. There are stone bench available at the top, where one can sit and gaze at the mesmerising nature all day long. If you are looking for hardcore trekking experience than you can start the trek from Boothappa Temple which is below the hill and skip the stone steps. Overall the Blessings of Sri Ranganatha Swamy and the eye soothing nature makes this a must visit trekking place with friends and family
