The Unknown and Tranquil Netakal Lake is about 66km from Mysuru, located in Netakal village. 70acres of pure heaven. There is thar road all the way to the lake. The walk and ride on the bund is peaceful. Lake is filled by Cauvery water. Fishing is done using coracle and angling. Ideal place to swim and play in the waters. There are hills surrounding the lake that add a special touch to this place and one can explore these hills. Overall a must visit picnic place with friends and family
