The Unknown and little Heaven Shri Shivagangadhareshwara Giri Gudi is about 205km from Bengaluru, 187km from Mysuru, located in Somanathapura village. Located on a hillock, temple dedicated to Almighty Lord Shiva and Goddess Gangamma. There is thar road that leads all the way to the top of hillock. Eight Shiva Linga (Ashta Lingams) is present at the top, all believed to be from chola dynasty. Sri Veerabhadra swamy temple and Sri Naga Temple is aslo present at the top.
