The Unknown and Marvelous Sri Bolare Timappa Swamy Hillock Temple is about 76km from Mysuru, located in Bolare village. Place where Lord Sri Ram visited with Lord Hanuman. Place where Anient Rushi Muni performed tapas. Sri Timappa Swamy temple, Sri Anjanaya Swamy temple along with ancient writings and sculptures can be seen at the top. There is muddy road that leads all the way to this hillock. The view from above is eye soothing especially watching the lake below. There used to be a suranga from this place, which is closed now. Also its is believed that 7 headed snake existed here. Ideal place for Photography.
