The Unknown and Heavenly Sri Gavi Muthuraya Swamy Temple in the middle of a Forest is about 49km from Mysuru, located in Advikatte village. One needs to trek through the hill to reach this place. The view from above the hill is eye soothing with cool breeze blowing all around. Below the hill Sri Gavi Muthuraya Swamy Temple is present. The idol inside the cave temple is udhbhava murthy. One can trek and explore further the surrounding hills. Forest area, hence late night trekking and camping is not advised. Looking for a short trekking with mesmerising nature all around, this is the place to be. Thus making this a must visit picnic place with Friends and Family
