The Unknown and Paradise, Heaven, Beautiful, Marvelous, Fantastic, no words to describe simply Amazing 36ft Almighty Lord Shiva statue in Sri Malemalleshwara Swamy Temple, Seege Gudda Hill also called as Rishyasringa Hill means a person born with the horns of a deer (Jinke Kombu) is about 194km from Bengaluru, 128km from Mysuru, located in Seegegudda Kaval village. Legend has it that Goddess Parvathi wanted to see Arjuna, hence Lord Shiva took the form of Bedara Vesha and hunts in a forest opposite to Arjuna. A dispute arises between Arjuna and Lord Shiva, Arjuna launches an arrow towards Lord Shiva that crates a Kola (Tunnel) inside huge rocks. The water falls on Lord Shiva and then Arjuna realises that it was Lord Shiva who he was against. The 30feet Kola (water tunnel) can be seen below Lord Shiva Statue and the rock below is Udhbhava Murthy of Lord Shiva. Apart from this Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple and Ancient Rishyasringa temple along with Ancient idols can be seen located further above the hill from this place. There is muddy road that leads all the way to the top of the hill. The view from above especially watching the wind farm is breathtaking. One can trek or ride further and surrounding the hill. Overall the blessings of Sri Malemalleshwara Swamy, along with the Ancient mythical history of this place with abundant nature all around, makes this a must visit picnic place with friends and family
