Mrityunjaya temple, the only one in Karnataka is located at Marenad, Badagarakeri village in Kodagu district. The temple is about 125 km from Mysuru and 257 km from Bengaluru. One need to drive through the narrow pothole ridden roads to reach the place. But for the roads, the drive is a pleasant experience as you wade through the coffee and tea plantations surrounded by lush green forests. The temple is located in a calm and serene spot away from noise and pollution.Any wish which has to be fulfilled, we can pray in this temple and wishes will come true
