The Unknown and Little Heaven Sri Muthurai Swamy Hillock Temple is about 53km from Mysuru, located in Muthurayana Hosahalli Kaval village. There is a small wooden gate, which is the entrance to this place. The temple is located on a hillock surrounded by forest. One needs to go through muddy trail to reach the bottom of the hillock, from there one needs to climb few stone steps to reach the temple. Sri Muthurai Swamy idol present at the temple is udbhava murthy. One can trek and explore further around the hillock. Ideal place for photography and trekking. Forest area, hence late night trekking and camping is restricted.
