The Unknown and Ancient Heaven Sri Sathya Sai Gavisideshwara Swamy Hill Temple is about 42km from Mysuru, located in Maradevarahalli village. There is thar road all the way to the middle of the hill. Sri Gavisideshwara Swamy Udhbhava murthy temple is present at the middle of the hill. Place where Sri Gavisideshwara Swamy performed tapas. It is belived that the suranga in front of the temple connects to hunja lake which is about 10km from this temple. One needs to go via the muddy stone trail that is present behind the hill near the pond from main thar road to reach the top of the hill. The view from above eye soothing. Ideal place for camping.
