For all you lovely Mysureans who were asking me for a nearby cycling and short trek heaven place, this one is for you. The unknown and 360 degree heaven Sri Siddapaji Swamy Hill Temple is about 22km from Mysuru, located in Basavanapura village. There is muddy trail all the way to below. From below there are multiple paths to reach the top. Sri Siddapaji Swamy udhbhava murthy idol is present at the top. The view from above is eye soothing. Ideal place to cycle from mysuru and watch the sunrise and sunset. You can also check out the Ancient Panchalingeshwara Swamy temple located below the hill in Basavanapura village. Overall a must visit place with friends and family
