The Unknown and Marvellous Sri Singaswamy Betta is about 42km from Mysuru, located in Adahalli village. This little hidden gem is ideal place for trekking and photography. Temple with Udhbhava Murthy of Lord Singaswamy is at top of the hill. Legend has it that the temple was discovered by one of the local resident when their cow stopped giving milk. Curious to know the reason the local resident followed the cow and were astonished to see that the cow used to visit the top of the hill and gave milk to the idol daily . There are stone steps all the way to the top of the hill. The view from top is eye soothing. One can trek further around the hill. Forest area hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. Overall the blessings of Lord Singaswamy and mesmerising nature surrounding this place makes this a must visit with friends and family
