For all you lovely Mysureans who were asking me for a nearby unknown trekking place, this one is for you. The Unknown and Magnificent Sri Chikadevamma Betta is about 21km from Mysuru, located in Arasinakere village. There are multiple trails to trek to the top. One being a small trail that is next to Sri Dodadevamma Temple beside the lake in Arasinakere village and other being the trail next to Shree Beereshwara Temple Gujjegowdana Pura village. Both the trails ends at a certain point below the hill. From there one needs to trek through the lush tress and stone hill to reach the top. Without proper trail to top, making the trek fun and hardcore. The view from above is eye soothing. Ancient Sri Chikadevamma Temple is present at the top and the idol inside the temple is udhbhava murthy. Forest area, hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. Overall the blessings of Sri Chikadevamma and the hardcore trekking experience makes this a must visit picnic place with Friends and Family
