The Unknown and Magnificent Bolgudda Sri NarayanaSwamy Betta is about 54km from Mysuru, located in B.G.Mole village. What to say just an heavenly eye soothing tranquil trekking place. There is a small trail muddy trail till the top of the hill, from there one needs to walk to reach the Ancient Sri NarayanaSwamy temple which is at the top of the hill. Legend has it that this hill was created from the sneeze of Goddess Parvati Amma. Sri NarayanaSwamy along with five other Gods including Goddess Parvati Amma brother Lord Sri Vishnu used to reside in this Temple. Later all the five Gods moved from the hill and immerse themselves under a tree named Mathi across the river Kaveri which is few meters from this hill. The view from top is jaw dropping. Forest area, hence late night trekking and camping is restricted. Overall the riding experience to the top, with the blessings of Sri NarayanaSwamy makes this a must visit place with friends and family
