The unknown and Gigantic Ajja Betta/Ajj Betta/ ಅಜ್ಜ ಬೆಟ್ಟ is about 50km from Mysuru, 3km from Kotekere village. What to say about this place, just mind blowing. One needs to go through a small trial which is available beside the water tank to reach the top of this place. The Hill consists of wild animals, hence trekking late night is prohibited. I got to see couple of deer on my way to top. One need to have a powerful bhp vehicle in order to reach the top as there are no proper roads and only stone muddy trial. There is a temple on the top of the hill and the view from above is breath taking. Trekking in groups in advisable and not to stop in middle of the trial as it is surrounded by thick forest. Overall the hardcore trekking experience and the mesmerising nature surrounding this place makes this a must visit with friends and family
