The unknown and Magnificent Sri Thirumalappana Betta is about 50km from Mysuru, 3km from Ummathur village. Located in an Isolated place, this is an ideal place for Hardcore Trekking. One needs to go through multiple lane to reach this place. The place is surrounded by forest. The muddy road makes it fun to reach the top. Hence one needs to have a powerful bhp Motorcycle to reach the top of this hill. The view from the top is Mind Blowing. There is Ancient Historical Sri Thirumalappana Temple at top of the hill. Its bit tricky to find this temple as one needs to pass beside a big water tank. Late night trekking is restricted.
