Venugopala Swamy Temple, its about 28km from Mysuru and 145km from Bengaluru. This is a hidden gem Venugopalaswamy Temple is located in a peninsula formed by the backwaters of the KRS dam.The Venugopala Swamy Temple located at Hosa Kannambadi, Near Krishna Raja Sagara, is another example of Hoysala architecture in Karnataka. This temple was built in the 12th century AD. When the KRS dam was conceived in 1909, the temple was condemned for submersion, For more than 70 years the temple lay underwater, now the submerged temple is picked bit by bit and reconstructed. It is a great work of recreation to have just re created the structure in the same design and devotion to keep the heritage in tact. The place is very historical and well maintained. Great sculptures to admire.if you lookin for some cool serene place this is the one
