Hemagiri Hill and Dam is about 62km from Mysuru and 175km from Bengaluru. 6km from Krishnarajpet town. Small but beautiful hillock with Sri Venkataramana Swamy temple at the top. The view from top is Amazing. The road to this place is good. Once can walk around this place and enjoy the nature. The small reservoir which serves as irrigation dam creates a small water cascade on the banks of Hemavati River. The lush green farmlands on backdrop serene hillock are enticing feature of this spot.
