The Mesmerising Siddara Betta (Hill of Saints) is about 100km from Bengaluru and 185km from Mysuru, 32km from Tumakuru district. The road to Siddara Betta is very good with attractive scenery all around. One has to climb 1000 man-made stone steps bare foot to reach the the top of hill. The top is spectacular and the views from there is simply Amazing. God Siddeswara temple is situated inside a cave at the top of the hill and there is a natural spring inside the cave. The Hindu priest present in the temple will pour three mugs of natural spring which is considered to be holy and sacred. In older days, many Hindu Saints performed penance and meditation here. Overall the rocky terrain and caves add to the thrilling trek experience. A must visit place
