Channarayana Durga is about 98km from Bengaluru, 211km from Mysuru. 44km from Tumakuru district. A tough trek with serene and silence all around. One needs to climb the slippery rocks to reach all the way to the top of this fort. A pond and ruined temple can be found at the top. Its breezy and beautiful on the top with panoramic view of the landscape below and worth the climb. There are some tricky and treacherous spots. The road to this place is good. Overall a one day trip for trek enthusiastic who like less crowded places, one can enjoy the cool breeze and the surroundings all day long
