The Unknown and Lord Shiva Home Heaven Shri Bhairaveshwara Swami Cave Hill Temple is about 64km from Bengaluru, located in Seethi village. Place where Goddess Sita Mathe stayed and her footprints can be seen on the rocks. It is believed that Demon Bhasmasura performed Tapas and got a boon from Lord Shiva to burn anyone who he places his hand on their head. After he received the boon he wanted to place his hand on Lord Shiva head. Watching this, Lord Vishnu took the avatar of Mohini and came down to this place. Demon Bhasmasura was so attracted to Mohini that he wanted to marry her, Mohini agreed but on one condition that he needs to dance with her.
