Mallalli Falls is around 25 kms from Somwarpet, 134 km from Mysuru and 255 kms from Bengaluru. It’s is an eye feasting sight of river Kumaradhara gushing through the valley and falling into a gorge, with lush green mountains around. Rainy Season as usual is the best time to see the real Mallalli Falls as there will be plenty of water which gushes down from the river and the mist and the green hills around adds to the beauty of Malalli Falls and the water usually dries up during summer.You need to walk down a very steep slope on a trail which led to the bottom of the falls. The spray of water was totally amazing. An amazing Place for an adventures trip. A full Fledged Panoramic Beauty. Surrounded with lush green canopy at the foothills of Pushpagiri range. River Kumaradhara tumbles over the rocks into the steep gorges to form this beautiful falls in the Western ghats. Kumara Parvatha which is a part of the Pushpagiri range forms the background of Mallalli falls and the green canopy.The water fall is only accessible by foot as the roads are very narrow and rugged.From Somwrapet there are very few buses to Hanchinalli which is the nearest village to water the falls. Hiring a private vehicle is a better idea to reach Mallalli falls.Ideal season to visit this place is anywhere between July to December.Though less Explored location, its a beautiful falls one should not miss
