The Unknown and Little Heaven Sri Gavi Siddeshwara Swamy Sanidhi Hill is about 57km from Mysuru, located in Mariyala village. There is road that leads all the way to the below of the hill. From below one needs to climb few steps to reach the temple. Sri Gavi Siddeshwara Swamy cave with Udhbhava Murthy Shiva Linga is present inside the temple. Ancient place where Sri Siddeshwara Swamy performed Tapas. There are total of four Gavis. Two are covered with Snake burrow, one consist of wild animals and the last one is the temple. The Temple is open from 8am and 4pm for few minutes based of devotes availability. During Amavase and Karthik Somara Special pooja is offered. Cheetah has been spotted by the locals in this hill and surrounding area, hence late night visit is not advisable. Overall the blessings of Sri Siddeshwara Swamy and quick getaway from city busy life makes this a must visit place with friends and family
