The Pleasant and less known Mallikarjuna Temple on a hillock is about 31km from Mysuru and 138km from Bengaluru. 5km from Bannur city. The road to this gem of a place is good. Once reached at the bottom entrance of this temple, one has to climb 500 stone steps in order to reach the top. Each stone step climed is a treat with beautiful nature and greenery view around.
